Independent Leadership and Guidance
The ACADI Council provides independent strategic oversight and leadership for the Centre, bringing together expertise from outside the diabetes sector to offer broad professional perspectives and objective guidance. This key structural layer supports long‑term direction, priorities and partnerships, while strengthening accountability and external insight.
Our Council members bring diverse backgrounds to ACADI’s governance, with experience spanning business, accountancy and finance, biosecurity, communications, corporate affairs, health and health economics, and law.
Two members also contribute lived experience insights, helping ensure decision-making remains centred on patient care.
