Leadership and Expertise
ACADI plays a convening role across Australia’s diabetes ecosystem, bringing together a nationally connected network of experts spanning research, clinical care, advocacy, industry and lived experience. This collaborative approach enables diverse perspectives to inform diabetes research, translation and implementation.
Pivotal to this network is a dedicated leadership and operational team responsible for coordinating ACADI’s activities and supporting the delivery of its research, training and engagement programs.
ACADI’s governance structure provides strategic oversight and expert guidance through its Council, Management Committee and Advisory Groups, ensuring a coordinated, accountable and inclusive approach across the Centre.

The day-to-day operations of ACADI are managed by a small, dynamic team comprising clinical leaders and professional staff, headquartered in Melbourne. Together, the team coordinates the Centre’s activities across a nationally connected network.
